It's nice to be posted...

This morning, Neil called and informed me that my name was in Arab News 'coz one of my shot during the concert of Prime Note Ensemble (PNE) in ARAMCO, Al-Khobar last Thursday was chosen by Ka Pepe (Jose De Luna) to be posted in one of the review page of Arab News... last Tuesday, Ka Pepe emailed me and he was asking for a copy of my shots during the concert and he's saying that he will post it on Arab News... Wow! Syempre flattered ako and the same time proud... But, I am not expecting na tototohanin ni Ka Pepe yun... I thought biro lang and one of his way of motivating us to enhace our skills in photography... But not! He really post it! Yepeeee... When Irwin came home while I was playing RAN Online, he also told me the good news and he brought with him the newspaper... Nice! Itatabi ko ito and ipapa frame ko pa!

Thank you Ka Pepe for selecting one of my shot and posting it... Kingdomwide mababasa ang name ko, ay hindi lang pala Kingdomwide, kundi buong Middle East... Hahahaha... Ang babaw no!? But maybe this will be the start of my new career... Ahihihi... Asa daw ba? Who knows!?

I like to thank also kneeko for lending his spare battery and speedlite flash... Kung hindi siguro sa flash and battery mo hindi mapipili yung shots ko... Also masterbetong for buying my battery grip... Kung hindi mo nabili yung grip hindi ko mahihiram yung battery ni kneeko... Hahahahaa... And to all my friends and family... Thank you all... Naks parang feeling ko nanalo ako nang award ha! Hahahaha... But for me, I can say that this is one acheivement for me and I am very proud of it... Sana meron pang next time... ASA!

Canon Battery Grip BG-E3

Another accessory of my Canon EOS 400D camera was fulfill... Thanks to masterbetong for he's support and helping me... He is the one who choose ang bought this battery grip from Hidalgo... It’s a Canon Battery Grip BG-E3 with two battery holder options are provided - both holder were slide into the end of the BG-E3. One option allows two Canon NB-2LH batteries to be utilized (allowing about twice as many shots without a battery change). The other option allows 6 pcs. of AA size batteries to be used. So now I can check my camera set-up anytime without hesitation and make more shots… But the problem, battery is not included so I need to buy another Canon battery or rechargeable AA size battery which is cheaper but it will added more weight... then there is another accessory can be added and that is the Canon E1-Hand strap for more stable handling especially shooting in vertical position...

Anyhow there are so many advantages in this accessory, with this BG-E3 It lets you take pictures conveniently in vertical mode, with 5 of the camera's most useful buttons and 7 of its most useful functions duplicated on the vertical grip. An on/off switch lets you disable the grip, to avoid releasing the shutter by mistake. I noticed also that while using my SIGMA 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO DG MACRO telephoto lens is more easier to control than before...

Next target is... Canon Speedlite 580EX II Flash, as of now I don't have any idea how much is the selling price here in K.S.A.... I wish the cost is cheaper or less than what I saw on the reviews...

Our Little Princess

9 years ago was the day when our first little angle sent to us to this world... She's Alleona Dominique, who is cuddly and sweet... The eldest of our three kids... Her Grandpa also called her Pipay 'Coz, once when she was young we cut all her hair due to allergy, so in short she was bald and Pipoy was the character name of Larry Silva who is a bald comedy actor... So there where she got her name Pipay...

Today is was her 9th Birthday... I order Pancit Palabok and added with loaf's and soda... Then we order two family size piza... Wallah! Birthday celebration na here together with my relatives and friends... Wala nga lang drinking session... Hehehehe... Alam nyo naman dito medyo strict!

Haaayyy... How I miss her, her lambing, arte, kulit, and sapi which she mana from her Mom... I remember pag may sapi sya, tatahimik at magmumukmok sa isang tabi... Ayaw magpahawak at ang itsura, mukhang si sadaka 'coz of her hair... Kaya ang sarap-sarap nya lalong asarin and later on lalambingin ko till sa mapangiti ko sya... But before mo mapangiti yan daming hampas at sabunot mo munang tatanggapin from her... But sometimes, dinadaan nalang nya sa tulog then when she woke up... Wala na ang sapi!

9 years nalang and Debut na nya! Waaahhh... Tanda ko na! Magkakaroon na ako nang Princess... Don't worry anak, on that day, looking young parin ako... Lahat ng guest mo will ask if I am really your Dad 'coz I will be your escort too... Hehehehe... Feeling young pala hindi looking young...

Well, with regards to our wish... Ammm... We know naman that all parents wish all the best for their kids, they will give everything just for them... For them to be happy, live well, have a great future, success and a better life... Now through prayers and with his grace is the best gift you have... Happy Birthday anak...

Thanks to all my friends and relatives who's here with me celebrating my daughters simple birthday even were miles away to each other... Also to Ka Raoul, thank you...

What a bad day...

This is what I look like when my left foot was covered by plaster cast due to what happened last basketball game... I do shoot of my self for me to see what I look like with this plaster cast on my left foot... Well, it was last 14th of July 2007 when our Company Doctor check my ankle and gave me referral to go to the hospital and have an ex-ray of my left foot... Well, medyo makirot nga that time and for my own sake, after office hours me with my office mate and together with my uncle go to the hospital for check-up and ex-ray, the findings was not that critical and the Doctor told me that it’s just a swollen ligament... So he ask me if I like to put cast on it and take a sick leave for 7 days or let it be and see what happen... So syempre, I will follow his advise and syempre good for me too 'coz makakapag sick leave ako for 7 days... Yepeeee! Sarap buhay! Hehehehe... But that’s not what happen, iniisip ko rin na medyo maraming trabaho and at the end ako rin naman ang gagawa nang mga work na mapepending so I decided to take 3 days sick leave instead of 7 days... But, medyo aggressive and parang walang paki itong acting Superintendent ko, palibhasa gustong magpasikat kaya he asked me to go to work in the morning even 4 hours just to finish the daily report and then I can go and rest. Akala nya ganon lang kadali yung sinasabi nya... kaya nga sick leave eh... But what to do yani!? Eh di suundin ang utos nang amo... But I do it only for 3 days, then the following week medyo on and off ako sa work...




Ang hirap pala ma-sprain! You can not take a bath properly, bawal kasing mabasa... kaya, I sat on the floor and my foot was raised on a plastic chair while I'm taking a bath, and I did that for two weeks... Hirap! Kaya yesterday, me, Eton and Irwin go to hospital and I asked the Doctor to remove my cast... Kahit na hindi pa daw pwede... For me it's better to removed it, mas nahihirapan akong mag-work habang naka-cast ako... Now I am feeling well even there is a little swollen on my left foot... I just put some creme on it and drink a pain reliver to lessen the pain...

So maybe it will take a monhts before it will completely heal and I hope I can still play basketball. If not... Magpipiko nalang ako...

Kwento muna...

Yap! I got a new layout... Sorry for I don’t give more time to edit and make this layout nicer than before. You will notice that my links to all my blogger friend are gone and now I am trying to put it back... one thing I forgot is to back up or download my previous layout before changing these, kaya all widgets and sidebars links are gone... luckily I have another blog account in wordpress and what I did is copy all the links and HTML codes and paste it here... Hehehehe, hindi kasi makontento sa layout...

Anyway, back to the blogger world, for the past days there are so many things happened... One is when I got a minor injury while playing basketball, Grabeh! Noong naramdaman kong parang napa-pilipit ang paa ko, kinabahan na ako agad... ang akala nang mga referee’s ay natisod lang ako... So I asked for substitute and Nilo Espino, President and Organizer of the league with my team mates assists me to our bench and then he took off my shoes at medyo na shocked sila! Hindi sa amoy ha! Na shocked sila at lalo na ako ‘Coz parang crispy pata agad ang paa ko dahil sa laki nang maga... This is the first time I experienced ma-sprain... Medyo physical kasi ang laro that night and medyo malalaki ang kalaban... Our contender Dabarkads is one of the strong team in our bracket and they are also willing to win that game... That is why the game is so tight and you will see all players from both teams are aggressive and put their best on that game. For me, this is one of the best game, parang championship ang game pero nasa elimination palang... When Dabarkads points from the rainbow area, one of our team mates, either Marlon or Ryan will answer and make a 3 points shots, the power rebound of Oplas is a big help also plus the contribution of all teams... Kaya ako ang nakontibute ko nalang is sumigaw, mag-abot nang tubig at mang-asar nang kalaban... Hehehehe... Injury po, kaya sa bench lang ako... Anyway, we won the game by leading 4 points and make our standing 2L/1W. Imagine! Tinalo namin yung isa sa pinakamalakas na team sa bracket namin! And yun ang first win namin...

Update...

Ang hirap magbago nang layout... Nagsisisi nga ako kung bakit binago-bago ko pa ang layout nitong blog ko... When I check my layout using my computer in office, okay naman... medyo hindi lang ako satisfied doon sa links nang Home, About & Photo Gallery... Ang gusto ko kasi mangyari ay mailagay siya sa bandang left side... But still! Ayaw nyang maalis sa center... And then, when I check this layout using my PC here at home... Waaaahhhh... Ibang layout naman ang lumalabas! Lalo na sa aking Home Page... Now I am trying to make a post and check ko po kung mababago nga ang layout... Wheeewww... Hirap talaga nang pakapa-kapa lang... Anyway, masaya narin ako 'Coz kahit papaano, kahit hindi ko napagaralan ito noong college... Medyo na ge-get ko naman ang logic kung paano ayusin ang mga code...

Well, hope later maayos ko nga ito... Napagiiwanan na ako nang post ni Pareng Kneeko and Pareng Masterbetong... Hindi ko tuloy ma post yung mga latest shots ko... I hope makapa ko na ito... Or if you have any recommendation, please advice me...

Philippine Motor Show

It’s been more than 15 days when I and master together with his co-Pipho met and attend the Philippine Motor Show at the World Trade in Manila. The call time is 10:00AM, so I charge my battery, check my camera, and prepare all my things the night before, (Excited ba!?) ‘Coz ang alam namin ni Master is matutuloy ang shoot namin sa wedding ng friend ni Kneeko, but maybe because of so many activities Kneeko had been through... and maybe pagod pa sa biyahe from France... Kaya ang pag remind or even text sa amin ni Master ay nakaligtaan nya na hindi pala sya makaka attend sa wedding... Well, okies lang yun Bro! Just don’t forget our pasalubong! Hehehehe... Buti nalang at nayakag ako ni Master sa motor show and pasalamat narin kami dahil may motor show, dahil kung wala... saan kaya kami maglilibot?

Anyway, I don’t have enough story to tell, kaya stop na muna ang kwento ‘coz marami pa po akong pics na ipo-process... so you may start criticizing my photo’s...
